Amore Information

Tucked away in the heart of Albuquerque, Amore offers a cozy retreat for those craving authentic Italian flavors in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Located at 3600 Cutler Ave NE #3, this charming restaurant has become a local favorite, celebrated for its fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a menu that feels like a love letter to classic Italian cuisine.

From the moment you step through the door, the inviting ambiance sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. The interior is rustic yet refined, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that immediately make you feel at home. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual dinner with friends, a romantic date night, or even a celebratory meal. The staff is known for being exceptionally attentive, always ready with a recommendation or a friendly chat, adding to the restaurant's welcoming vibe.

The menu at Amore is a delightful exploration of Italian dishes, with an emphasis on fresh pasta, seasonal ingredients, and bold flavors. Start with their signature appetizer - the bruschetta, served on perfectly toasted bread with ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It’s the ideal way to kick off a meal and get your taste buds ready for the main event.

For mains, the house-made pasta dishes steal the show. The rich, velvety sauces coat each dish perfectly, whether you’re diving into a hearty plate of lasagna or savoring the delicate flavors of the fettuccine alfredo. The standout, however, might be the pasta primavera, where crisp vegetables meet a light garlic and olive oil sauce that highlights the natural flavors of each ingredient.

Don’t miss the wood-fired pizzas, either. Amore offers a variety of topping combinations, but the Margherita pizza is a must-try for anyone craving simplicity at its best. The thin crust is crispy with a slight char, while the mozzarella is rich and creamy, providing the perfect balance of flavors.

As for dessert, the tiramisu is a showstopper. Light yet indulgent, it’s the perfect ending to a meal that will leave you craving your next visit.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Amore is a spot that truly captures the essence of Italian comfort food. Its consistent quality, intimate ambiance, and genuine love for food make it an unforgettable experience. So, if you find yourself in Albuquerque, make sure to stop by and enjoy a meal that feels like it’s been crafted with care and passion.

What People's Say About Place

This was an awesome find next to our hotel! There are several differently-coloured repurposed sea containers carefully crafted into a taproom, food court with various offerings, and an outdoor seating area with live music. The ambiance was hipster x Illuminati-inspired corporate art and it was awesome! Amore doesn’t do the American-style grated cheese. The kids had meatball and these luscious sliced mozzarella rounds on their pizza and the adults went for a vegan pizza with garlic, basil, and arugula. They give you a beeper-style buzzer for when your order is up and the service is fast! Also cool is the tiled pizza oven - a pretty amazing design. Practically hypnotic watching them work like artisanal pizza-generating hummingbirds. Masterful!

This place is always a go to spot for some unique pizza. On this visit I ended up ordering the “Jefe Pepe” and a ball of mozzarella to cook with later. The pizza is always tasty, with a nice crunch with each bite. The mozzarella is always made in house and hella fresh. Great quality. Just ask to buy a ball. I’ll order a different pizza on my next visit.

I tried Amore Pizza on a friend's recommendation. It was a unique layout with other businesses in conex boxes surrounding it. I had the Margherita, Amore United and meatball sliders. I would suggest Margherita, the food was good and the portions were small.

My daughter and I stopped in while passing through Albuquerque. She was craving pizza and searched up gluten free pizza. She liked the reviews so we made the stop. It did not disappoint.

What a great find. Staying at the hotel next door.and it was a toss between pizza and tacos. Glad I picked the pizza. Do yourself a favor and order one.

So. Good. Placed a phone order on Saturday afternoon and it was ready it less than 15 minutes. Good thing because we were hangry. I got the Margherita with added green chile and subbed vegan mozzarella (costs extra-but worth it). Perfect sauce to crust ratio, the vegan cheese was the good kind that tastes yummy and melts, spicy chile, not greasy, and the fresh basil was superb! My bf got the Jefe Pepe and he was raving about it. I’ll be thinking about this pizza for the rest of the day lol

Stopped by ABQ NM for a night and found this hidden germ! Pizza were great & closed to some of the ones we had in Italy!! :) The dough has good amount of chew, tomato sauce and mozzarella are really really good, though I prefer less salty but it really is a personal preference. Can’t complain! The lady who took the order and packed our pizza were super nice and quick in service! Thank you for making good pizza with care. Margherita - 10/10 Imperatore - 9/10 Service -11/10

Cannot fully explain how delicious it was. We got the last two gluten free (GF) crusts for the day on our road trip West. I can see why they sell out! Phenomenon taste and texture. We also had the caprese salad and two of my family had a regular crust pizza. There was a small difference in the appearance so you COULD tell them apart, but to the causal observer they looked the same. Not sure what culinary magic they are using here, but it was so worth the stop!
